Shame on writers for killing off Oppie, and leaving Clay alive. THe take away one of the most interesting, conflicted and likable characters and levee in his place someone no one wants to see anymore. Oppie doesn’t even get to see his father avenged. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and I am less excited about watching the next episode than I was 24 hours ago. Why can’t writers leave a good thing alone and not screw it up. Why do they have to give President Jeb Bartlett multiple sclerosis, why do they have to give Kelsey Grammar in Boss some horrible and degenerative condition that makes him hallucinate, why do they have do the same to Jeff Daniels in Newsroom.Isn’t there enough subject matter in the White House or a a newsroom floor?
